The Revere Beach location is/was the only objectively "good" location. Every other store is mediocre at best. Definitely not worth the prices they charge now.

When in reality, the whole issue happened when they deleted posts they said they would leave up for transparency, and went on to blanket ban mass amounts of active users and contributors. They started multiple threads to explain themselves, then deleted those threads when users, in pretty much total agreement, downvoted them and rallied against them.

You can go to Stoppies. Buy some roast beef cold cuts and some cheese. Warm up the beef in the microwave. There it is. Kelly’s is lazy. Not a good beefery.

Gotta go to a true beefery. Kelly’s was once one. Many many years ago.

The crazy /r/massachusetts moderator just added a couple "powermods" from the needamod thread.

So now there's not only the crazy mod, but one powermod that mods 60+ subreddits and another that mods like 40+ mostly porn subreddits.

The Massachusetts subreddit is being actively ruined by this guy.

We already have a Brothers Roast Beef in Dedham which is… ok. How does Kelly’s compare?

I lived in Beacon Hill with a baby and no car, and this was before getting things delivered was much less of a thing. Overall, it was totally fine. I generally walked everywhere anyway, so it wasn't a big deal. We did have to plan things a little better, just so we weren't dealing with that T at rush hour. Shopping usually meant going more often and getting less stuff if I had the stroller with me. Bigger stuff would have to be delivered or picked up with a ZipCar.

We "invested" in a Bugaboo stroller, and it was totally worth it despite the cost. It was super maneuverable and easy to push around. It also folded and unfolded quickly and easily, so getting around in places with stairs wasn't too bad.

Will never understand how their drive through draws a huge line, especially the locations north of the city like Medford and Saugus that have way better beef close by.

Been that way for years. Honestly as long as I can even remember Kelly's it's been a shell of itself.

I remember when they opened one Kelly’s in Allston a few years ago, it was always empty… lasted less than 2 years
