Federal jury duty is probably way less lenient than county jury duty. I would Check the federal court website not the state court site. Last time I got summoned I wrote them a letter stating I would be out of state and our lodging was non-refundable. Told them I would be willing to make it up in the future, but they ended up excluding me and haven’t heard from them since.

I did! After the questionnaire, I received a message saying that I am not excused and to email the ejuror email to request an excusal.

Many announcers have their own trademarks; the late Gordon Bowman-Jones, who announced at Willow Grove, was one. Howdy is among that group of great announcers.

As for calendars, there isn't one specifically for that part of the USA but one of the best ones out there is on Milavia.

Locals Coffee in Wyndmoor just moved to its new location (an old bank) and it’s beautiful, cozy, well priced, and they advertise for you to “stay a while”.

Wake just opened a Pizza/Cafe concept in Flourtown called Bake, combining with Tommy Ds in the old Bella Maria location off Bethlehem Pike. Looks like it’ll have a good atmosphere for studying.

These announcers leave an impression. I’m sure Howdy will be missed.

Is there a calendar of air shows for PA/NJ/MD/NY? I’m from Northern Ireland and my dad used to take me to air shows around the UK to the point that the Red Arrows almost became boring. I’d love to take my 3yo this year. We had fun up at Rheinbeck Aerodrome Museum last summer if anyone is going to be in the Woodstock area.
