Call an Agent and have them set up a quote for you. You can give them the make/model of the car you're eying and they can run you up a quote.

I've used State Farm mainly due to inertia - it's who my parents (and in-laws) use, so all my experience is with them. Just call a local office in your area - agents are scattered all over, really; you can look a few up online and whoever gets back to you soonest, go with them, heh.

Even if you don't use State Farm, they know applicable law and should be able to at least get you a competitive quote.

Then you can call a couple of other local agents with different insurance firms and feel out which works best for you

BTW, unless you're really budget-conscious, you want full tort in PA

Yea that's what I'm worried about. I'm sure there's plenty of open positions in harrisburg but it would be an hour drive. There isn't much local. Most of the contract people don't care and show up when they want to. They're getting paid at least $10 an hour more than the state employees. They don't have the benefits we do. It's all frustrating because the residents have been thru enough in their lives now they have staff that don't care anymore.

This is the closest advice i could find on Google:

>If you don’t have an existing policy, you should get quotes prior to purchasing your car. Even without a specific vehicle identification number (VIN), you can give your personal information to an insurance agent and then officially activate your policy once you know the car’s details. However, if you’re buying the car on the weekend when most insurance offices are closed, you will have to either wait to drive your new car or purchase the policy online while you’re at the dealership.

Most places seem to think you already have a preexisting insurance and are simply adding an additional car, but if I understand you it is more of a chicken-and-egg, which do you get FIRST if you have neither.

I have heard of Carvana but never dealt with them -- are you supposed to travel to another town/city to pick up the vehicle, or do they deliver the vehicle to your area? If there is an option for either, is having them deliver to your driveway very expensive? Because then it could sit there while you do the final insurance details.

I'm a Democrat who thinks he should resign, and I don't want to hear a goddamn word about this from any Republican who has not disavowed Trump.

> I wonder why we haven’t classified racism as a personality disorder, much like sociopathy or BPD. Viewing other human beings as lesser and having no sympathy for them seems to fit the bill.

Cynical answer: Because humans naturally like to punch down. Look at the comments that come up every time raising the min wage is discussed. "Ho-hum, I don't make $15/hr so these cashiers [who the commenters think are inferior] should live in cardboard shack if they don't like it" type comments.

Its hard for something to be labeled a disorder when most of the population seems to have it.

Sure, GF alternatives exist, but the question is specifically finding a good one at a local restaurant. Most places have corn and flour and that's it.

My wife has Celiacs, and we've unfortunately never seen a GF burrito in the wild. However, the existence of those GF burrito tortillas is duly noted and I'm excited to test them out.

That's what triggered me. I already started packing more and will patronize hrg businesses even less if they force us back.

Strawberry Square food is substantially worse than outside the city and more expensive. Even the taco bell has items $2 more than outside the city. No shit these businesses are struggling. They are charging $12+ for the cheapest option and it is usually shit quality.
