“a bunch of ghetto radicals actually killed a Wawa proposed to McCarter Highway and Governor Street.”

It was actually a small group of Lower Broadway homeowners who blocked anything that WASN’T high rent. Their pie in the sky plan was to get Trader Joe’s to come to that spot. So it’s the opposite, they were actively trying to gentrify the neighborhood.

Last I heard, the ringleader of the opposition moved to a luxury apartment downtown. That lot currently has trucks on it, obviously worse than a WAWA.

That thing is massive Westside Hoboken style development. I hope they don’t cheap out on the quality of the cladding. A strict 5 story height limit means a big plain box instead of design variation

Hey man, just because I thought that guy was weird and had a terrible approach to whatever he was trying to do doesn’t mean I think it’s a good idea for you to go patrolling at night in a superhero mask. I still worry you’re going to stumble onto something you shouldn’t and get yourself stabbed or shot. If you want to do a neighborhood watch, you should reach out to the police and see about how to do something safely with a group of like-minded neighbors.

As a resident and changemaker, please and ever so kindly fuck off.

I don't buy that you're "conducting a study" when you're clearly biased against Midnight.

Take your personal grievances elsewhere.

He's done more for this city than many people ever will. If you're not going to spend your evenings aiding the homeless, directing the lost, and preventing crime, then please shut the fuck up 😄

People obsess over his attire but humans do that shit literally everywhere. We all like playing dress up because that's what helps make life real to us.

I wear sweaters and cardigans and shit because I like to dress up in ivy league style.

I recently attended a community chat event with law enforcement and lo and behold, everyone there was dressed in formal gear. Cops have different attire for different occasions as do other humans and other professions // ways of being. Literally everyone.

Take this bullshit elsewhere, or reevaluate yourself and actually try to do an impartial, unbiased study dickheads.

>However, putting on a mask, dressing up in a homemade super-suit and patrolling Newark's streets DOES create a Public Saftey issue and Community-Distrust, hence the tagline.

Which is it?
