"Picture it: a beautifully crisp quesadilla, but instead of the usual chicken-and-peppers filling, it’s stuffed with the most tender oxtail, buttery shrimp, melty cheese and smoky jollof rice (West African staple made with long-grain rice, tomatoes, onions, spices and vegetables).

This killer mash-up is one of the many globetrotting dishes offered by Afro Taco, a Newark-based food truck overflowing with Ghanaian and Mexican flavors."

Yes that is thee Calvin Sounder😂 Issues the developer is facing is not meeting with the James street association, and most likely the design of the tower. If we can convince them to make the building have modern art deco facade that pays tribute to the neighborhood and maybe the James street association can have a new headquarters on the inside. The tower should offer an observation deck or floor so people can go inside in visit, than the most of the profits can go to the James Street Association to help restore and prevent historic buildings from getting demolished. And maybe we can incorporate the facade into the new tower

I went to Essex County for Covid shots a couple of years ago, coming back down the hill walking up to the cut through and the locked doors made me feel so stupid, a guy came out and told me they closed it . Guess he felt bad for me with all my shopping bags .

You can count me in. Good on you for organizing this.

Would love to see how we can get this project greenlit // what problems they're facing.

Edit: WAIT IS THAT CALVIN SOUDER!???

I met this guy in Martha's Vineyard, and he coincidentally just LinkedIn requested me a few days ago.

Small world.
