How much are they charging for a cookie?
Cause that dessert place in GW sold cupcakes for $5-7 and cakes from $80+

So I’m wondering if the ppl buying these homes over $800k are paying cash, and if they’re immune to rising rates. The house on the corner of Ballentine and Lake St just sold for $800k and is in way better shape than the house that sold for $820k on the corner of Delavan and Parker. I don’t have the answer here, but I could see a contractor paying $500-600k for this one and remodeling it.
Look at the brown house on Elwood, it sold at the start of Covid for $350k (total remodel needed); it sat for a year or so and was sold for $600k with no work being completed on it. Interesting to watch!

And it won’t be worth $1 million. The highest a single-family has sold for, all finished inside and ready to move in, was $832k last year. With interest rates where they are now, it’ll be a while before any of the corner mansions break that.

It’s been closed all through COVID and very recently reopened. Mostly food takeout and the occasional actual retail. Runs on the second floor through the complex and connects directly to Newark Penn through skybridges

It will be in the Gateway Center so anywhere from 5:30 to 11 PM. Likely to be decided based on the success of the renovated Gateway Center mall

Per their website, all their locations close at 10pm or 11pm, except Rockefeller Center, that closes at 8pm.
What time do we think it will close in Newark?

It's worthwhile to just hang out in the ironbound. You can uber for like $15 or take the train. Ferry st is interesting.

1&9 billiards and entertainment. It’s a pool hall on 701 Spring St., Elizabeth it’s right off the 1&9 and literally 4 minutes from Newark airport same side as the airport and also there’s food places right next to it and across the highway there’s a royal fried chicken food is the bomb. Shooting pool and watching the games while getting something to eat just safe is bad being at that place is literally next-door neighbors to the airport.

I think it’s MLK but it’s gotta be somewhere close to downtown based on the age of the look of the buildings. I doubt half of them exist anymore

I think this street is what MLK Blvd is now. These buildings r too old of an architectural style to be anywhere but rly close to downtown and if u look at the old buildings that still stand on MLK today they look just like this but over half of them r gone and the ones that r still there r so dilapidated.

Come to the ironbound and eat Brazilian/Portuguese food. It’s only a short train ride to penn station in Newark from the airport, and the restaurants are just blocks away from Penn station.
