I think The Cars - Candy-O stands pretty tall.

Matthew Bellamy. Usher. Elton John used to be but doesn’t do it anymore.

Hard disagree, if the debut is 100%, antics is a good 85%, 3rd LP is around 70%, the rest is probably 60-65%

Yeah three are certain, and depending on my mood, up to three others would also be put above it.
Notice that I wrote Iron Butterfly, not Maiden ;)

I dunno. Love these bands, but I can't help but think that much of this will be sad and underwhelming.

Damn, I haven’t really flown for a few years since I did in camp. I didn’t pay but my tickets just to go up North a bit we’re 1200-1800 lol
Regina to Kelowna was over $900 around the early 2010s. I guess last time was right near the start of the pandemic Kamloops to Calgary and even that was 200-300 each way. I guess I’ll have to check swoop next time, honestly hadn’t even heard of it until now.

My first thought too. There was something about how they captured that old school thrash sound and evergy that modern thrash doesn't do for me.
Log and Kreator just did a new collab to recently to benefit a charity in his name

G. C. Cameron who sang for the spinners. Listen to it's a shame. He could do those Mariah Carey screams on key. So amazing.

Yes. Very high. Mike Patton has a beautiful voice but I can't recall him singing THAT high. Dont get me wrong, I LOVE Mike Patton. A lot

hmm maybe a strange suggestion but give it a try
Strong classical like Tchaikovsky (the 1812, for example) or Beethoven (7th, 5th, 9th, moonlight sonata...)

I'd have to say Guns and Roses. While Use Your Illusions 1 and 2 were pretty good, the didn't come close to matching the the raw energy of Appetite For Destruction.

There is only one answer. Frankie Valli. The King of falsetto. Still doing it at 88.

I'd say Antics is 99% as good as the debut. It all went down hill from there.

This is my answer too! That first album was just lightning in a bottle. They never recaptured it.
