yes, they’re poorer and in worse shape than we are in the northeast. this is a tremendous mess of “research” either way you put it.

I know a plot of land and water if you need, if you can find a legal way to do it and need a body of water and land. It’s not going to be able to happen with a body, you’ll most likely need to cremate first. But best of wishes!!!

Hillary and biden "carrying" all the loose states seems incredibly disingenuous when maine actually contributed electoral college votes to trump. Wonder if the author even knows about maine's non-all for 1 system....
I wonder what the north's looseness rating is though because some of the stuff like natural disasters and resources entirely buck the trend of being tight
Also I'm pretty surprised (and almost skeptical) about the dakotas. Plenty of natural resources, didn't think they were susceptible to disaster or environmental stuff not at all densely populated. Are they fat as fuck and dying early or something?

You could have her cremated and then put the ashes on a raft and give them the old viking funeral. would be.... so much less messy lol

The midcoast town I grew up in, that had never had a chain business of any kind, got a Dollar General a few years ago. Felt like another nail in the coffin of my childhood.

There are a lot of reasons to do that in an intersection. For this one, I'd imagine it's because the traffic from 196 on the left is coming down a hill, and if you turn right out of Topsham Fair Mall Road, you're immediately heading uphill and accelerating slowly, so it could cause traffic issues or accidents.

I've heard from York locals that it's a rundown mess and there isn't anything to do (aside from looking at the animals, of which there aren't many). I haven't been since I was a kid but apparently it's gotten worse over the years.

Yes there’s still someone trying to sell shitty weed out the back of the dollar general. No that does not mean it qualifies as a weed store.

Its a run down disaster. Went down to some york fair last fall and you had to park on one side of the wild kingdom, walk through it to the other side where the baseball diamond is.
We saw the whole thing and I wouldn't go there for myself nor trust my kid there for any reason.

i had fun there as a kid. as a vegan adult i would definitely not give them my money. there are plenty of more ethical sanctuaries in maine. there’s a bird sanctuary in ellsworth that i personally really enjoy; if your kiddo thinks owls n vultures are cool i’d definitely recommend checking it out.

Shit I replied to the other person first, my bad
Fancy iced coffee flavors like s’mores and white chocolate truffle, things like that. But also with alcohol in them.
They come in a flight like ciders or margaritas though so you get a few small ones for some variety
Not typically how I like my booze or coffee but I figure it’s worth a shot lol

Sorry to hear about your mom.
A funeral pyre won't turn a body to ashes. Crematoriums use flame and heat at a much higher level than an open air fire could achieve - and even then the resulting "ashes" are mostly ground up bone.

Hey if it’s any consolation I didn’t know about them till like, three days ago and I’m 26 lol
It’s a flight like ciders or margaritas: you get a variety of a few smaller drinks that are all different flavors. It’s just fancy flavors of iced coffee with booze though at the end of the day. Stuff like S’mores, caramel mocha, white chocolate truffle etc etc
I’m more of a black iced coffee with liquid sugar kinda guy myself but I want to try it before I write it off lol
