The internet has killed off the shopping north of Augusta. You might be better off looking to Vermont or New Hampster

That’s fairly obvious, and It can hold its own if you don’t push it too much, main obstacle is traction but I’ve had to bushwhack in a pair once and they didn’t do to bad.

It looks good, but if you actually want to use it for hiking or fishing, there are significantly better quality and value options right inside the store. Some of them are even Bean made

Canadians used to come by the bus load to shop at the Bangor Mall and at the nearby plaza with Kohls and Old Navy. the Bangor Mall is a ghost town now. I’d go to the outlets in Freeport and the Maine Mail in South Portland if you’re planning a shopping trip to Maine.

Make an appointment with a garage for a sticker. Make it a few weeks out, maybe even a month.
Keep the number handy so that if you get stopped you can apologize, and explain that you have an appt, but the soonest they could get you in is ....

You should read the text. It’s about the last ice age.
Downeast Maine has some famous geological features related to the ice age. I took a geology of Maine course about 20 years ago. We had to do field studies in and around Cherryfield. Not long after that i was watching a program about the ice age on the discovery channel and they visited the Cherryfield area.

There are supermarkets near the Maine Mall.

This is correct and has been the case for years.

Perhaps he lives on the coast? Big Dike…what with ocean levels rising, quite so.

The bean boot doesn’t need an update, it’s iconic. If you want a newer boot just get a pair of Keen boots or something. The bean boot is still a pretty solid and great looking boot.

It’s a silent assassin too. So many times have I heard “these aren’t spicy” while they’re mowing down on a fist full and then BAM!

Check out the employment listings for the State of Maine. Job duties and salaries are listed in the postings. You can also call the hiring manager in the listing, and they can answer any specific questions you have. There are several seasonal jobs of this variety listed around this time every year.

One of the nice things about Waterville is how central it is to many other places. Hour to Bangor for a concert. Hour and a half to sugarloaf. Just over an hour to Portland and the same to the mid coast. A lot of good day trip options.

Point is, it’s not really worth it unless you’re a fan of the aesthetic.
Which… admittedly, is hard to beat.
