More so with power lines and no one thinks twice about driving or walking under those.

I had not heard of that, but thank you for introducing it to me. It's actually rather catchy!

I'm not even remotely qualified, but it seems obvious that maintaining several/many solar farms along the median-located transmission line would incur less maintenance costs over time than tending a relatively delicate network over the course of hundreds of linear miles ... in traffic.

I used to hate automatic as well but it's getting to a point where standard is non existent

Dear God, I remember getting called a shill for big oil because I pointed out a few of the issues with putting solar panels flat on the ground and driving over them would cause.

Ooof. I'd love to live there, but need a lottery prize to do it.

If y'all don't mind a 3rd wheel (who might be checking out Pint & Pawn with his wife), I'd be down to meet up, too.

Eastport or Lubec. It's hard to choose because they both are awesome. I live in Cutler, so I'm close to both of them! Gotta say, it sure is nice living somewhere beautiful!

If I;
A; didn’t hate automatics so much
B; didn’t want to pay for the fuel mileage penalty of a V8
C; didn’t prefer a usable cabin like a wagon/hatchback …
I’d have seriously considered a P71, and I have no desire to ‘be a cop’, I just appreciate a dead simple body on frame chassis and rear wheel drive (especially in the winter ;) )

There are already medians with trees, man, you're very much just naysaying.

Has anyone performed the analysis necessary to determine how many Gigawatts could be produced with the median solution (in a year)?

Who’s going to get the snow off of hundreds of miles of solar panels up in the county? This is a better solution for warmer climates
