I don’t disagree with you, but with little kids it’s a great place to go. It’s certainly not backpacking in the north woods, but for a day (usually morning) trip it works for my family. It’s all about managing expectations.

For real? This is a bad thing?

This is way off topic for this post, but I wanted to comment that the body positivity movement is about acceptance of all bodies, regardless of size, shape, skin tone, gender, and physical abilities, while challenging present-day beauty standards as an undesirable social construct. While most people are capable of having a healthy body through healthy diet and exercise, there are still many people trapped in a larger body due to various conditions and illnesses. Body positivity is just a matter of accepting and respecting other humans, no matter what they look like. It’s just common decency. There are other movements out there that try to glamorize obesity and say it’s healthy, but I think it’s typical of any movement for people to twist things to the extreme.

I bet you supported the war in Iraq. And are against foreign aid to Africa.

This is just my opinion but Sebago state park is trash. Over crowded with loud and obnoxious out of staters. It's a poor representation of Maine State parks.
I delivered kayaks there for years for a local outfit. Hated having to wade through that mess to pick up/drop off. Can't imagine spending any time in there.

Because it's not a baby yet and it doesn't matter. The person it's inside of matters. The end.

I can relate. I lost my wallet last week and subsequently ran out of weed. Come to find out, you absolutely need an ID to buy weed in a store.

If I found out that after a 20 week fetal survey ultrasound, that my baby has severe mental retardation or physical disabilities, it could take up to a month of decision making and talking to doctors to figure out what to do. I would want to have a choice.

As someone from "away," this is definitely a hermit state! And there's a lot of this state that is not easily accessible.

A fertilized ovum isn't a human being you numbnuts. And you're categorically insane if you think people want to get pregnant just to get abortions.
And I guarantee plenty of fertilized chicken eggs get cooked, and guess what? They're not chickens.
The bottom line is that there are plenty of good reasons to get an abortion, whether medical, social, or psychological.
So, keep your medieval irrational beliefs to yourself.

I see we are employing the "I'm not racist, but" mentality for abortions.
Men have no right to speak on this issue. Shut your face hole, dude.

If you want a sense of political lean, look at the voter turnout and distribution between D and R state house, senate, and governor's race in 2022. That will give you a good sense of how things are. No, they told me it was suspended because I lapsed the insurance. The car was registered, they didn't know I wasn't driving it.
