It is a two story house and this is in the upper floor. I am not sure what type of framing it is but here is a picture of it: https://ibb.co/xGXxs2Q

The red circle is where I plan to add the eye hook from beneath.

The purple markings in this picture is where I was planning to lay the 4x4 or the 2x4. The plan was to have the eye hook hanging from the 4x4/2x4 and not the ceiling trusses. The 4x4/2x4 would lay on top of the joists where the drywall is fixed to. Here is the picture: https://ibb.co/HtN6QvF

Does this make sense? I don't want to do anything that is not safe, that's why I am checking before even starting. Any help is appreciated.

Edit to say:
My plan is to lay the 4x4/2x4 on top of the joists, not at all connected directly to the roof structure (sorry for the bad drawing). Once laid down, I would put the insulation on top of it again. It would be flush with the ceiling just above the joists.

YouTube Vancouver Carpenter. Best drywall instruction in my opinion. Like some said, shouldn’t really need much sanding between coats if any. I prefer to start w a 6inch blade for tape and then work up in width with each coat. I prefer traditional all purpose mud in the green and white bucket and add water to thin for skim. More coats and lighter as you go. Level 5. Best of luck!

Fellas, this is half inch rock. The tape hook isn't static, and moves a little. Push it in like this and it measures too long. In this case, by less than a 16th. The 5/8ths line is very far away. If you'd measure it by hooking on the back, it would measure a perfect half.

We did our drain line by digging up everything and trenched down. Our run was almost 40’ (forgot) so there was quite a bit of grading we needed to do. The grade was held up by gravel, 4” drain pipe (ours have holes to drain along the way, not just the down spout), fabric wrap to prevent clogging, gravel topped, then soil back fill, then everything went back on top.

WiFi Smart Bulbs and WiFi Ceiling Fan Controller would be your easiest solution. You can then control the fan from the app, the remote and / or a smart home assistant such as Alexa or Google Assistant. You can control the bulbs with the app, and / or your smart home assistant.

I recommend the Cync by GE or Philips Hue Wiz WiFi Bulbs. I've tried many smart bulbs and but these have been 100% reliable for me.
