To get them out, get a dryer vent brush from Home Depot or the like. To keep them out they sell cages or mesh. Avoid the mesh, they will rip it right off.

I rebuild and remodel RVs on the side, build fences, work on assorted motor vehicles, bdo majority of home repair...and a number of other tool related activities.

I buy the lowest cost battery Ryobi, and a proper actual electric drill.

Because every so often a 20 dollar Ryobi is needed but it's exceedingly rare.

I too used to think cordless mad me a better carpenter too.

We had to call a pest control service to get the birds out of ours, I'm not sure if it's something you want to DIY (birds can be pretty dirty).

As for prevention, they sell plastic cages for this purpose at pretty much any local hardware store as u/14KL pointed out. When we called out the service, they installed the cages as part of the removal.

To get them out, I don’t know…but to keep them out, most homes in my area put plastic or metal cages over them. I never had birds get into mine since they prefer the two story homes around my single story, but I put plastic cages on mine as a preventative measure. I got them at the local Lowes.

I checked Schneider's website for Square D breakers, and they don't offer an AFCI breaker larger than 20A. I dont know the manufacturer of your panel, but Square D is one of the major brands used in new construction these days, so if they don't offer AFCI breakers larger than 20A, then it's likely none of the other manufacturers do. Your best bet is to use metallic conduit for the feeder, or run it underground (if that is an option), and put out some rodent bait boxes.

Likely hard/impossible to find a ganged breaker like that. Apart from proper installation/routing of cables, a hot tub is unlikely to ever be fully ‘rodent proof’. What you can do is to monitor arching. www.whiskerlabs.com has the little Ting device that will alert (and I’d assume there are many other suppliers). Service is free for at least three years if you have StateFarm as insurer.

For what purpose would someone go to that extent. What would a hacker even be able to access and affect to cause this scenario. What makes you so valuable to these hackers to justify their time and focus on you. These are some things to ponder to help ground yourself in logic. Follow the science. Could be hvac, fridge compressor, speakers, anything that may emit sounds when malfunctioning. Surely you don't have any devices like alexa or echo if you're of this mindset.
