There's a lot of really good HVAC guys who do side work who will give you a reasonable price. As an HVAC guy, my advice would be to say "give me an install how your do it in your own house." And pay what they want and I promise you'll have a good running system that'll last years to come.

I’ve seen a few flocks out and about! I wonder if they are less out and about right before chicks hatch (which would be around now)?

Sounds like a stealth toll, haha.
Out of curiosity, in what manner was the work zone closed, exactly? Was any of the roadway blocked off, or was the work zone just off to the side? Were there clearly visible orange signs indicating that you were approaching a work zone?

For one mini? Brand? Seems like he's in the ballpark. I dont see ONE replacing your baseboard, and you better place it strategically for whole house cooling

Especially when the fines are automated by cameras. They won't even have to put up with the hassle of getting pulled over. Their financial managers will probably pay the tickets without them even knowing they got them.

Being mentally ill is not a character flaw and in those under the perpetual cruelty of poverty will resort to self medicating or immediate material gratification. Money management is difficult for even the competent and in the wealthy it is forgiven more readily.
Society’s fundamental responsibility to itself is to manufacture happy, healthy people. It is wisdom to educate, clothe and house one’s fellow man. After all, what is the use of government or an army’s might to protect goods above people. People make things better with incentive of purpose and self worth.
If the social system is failing, abandonment of its most vulnerable citizens will only increase society’s burdens, not eliminate it. Empathy is a great investment, even if only to avoid creating the self fulfilling prophecy of creating ‘bad’ people.

Where do you live? I know a qualified contractor that does it at reasonable rates.

The problem is that no one wants to hire someone with a criminal record. I don’t have a problem with the program, but would prefer if the state program just hire them even as basic manual labor jobs. College graduates have problems getting hire from lack of experience. How is someone suppose to get hired when they have a criminal record and 5+ years of nothing on a resume especially if they only finished high school

They're just there as a deterrent and to handle any incidents that happen. It probably ISN'T necessary, but the police unions will never, ever let them drop that requirement. OT from that shit sends their kids to college.

The DOT has strict regulations for how work zones should be marked. If you feel like a work zone has come up unexpectedly, it's very possible that the contractor is violating these regulations. If/when it happens to you again I would genuinely recommend calling the DOT to report what you see.

You wouldn't be driving anywhere without the work that people do out on those roads and you should damn well respect their safety.

Perhaps. It sure it was oversimplified. But the standards for social sciences are so lax. Do a real experiment if you want to come to these conclusions that these programs work.

You have clearly never been in enough poverty to do something you’re not proud of. Everyone that has been there knows.

And now if you're busted in the city, they will literally come up with any excuse to drop the charges.
