Something like 99% or more of all illegally trafficked firearms in the US a start off being purchased legally and enter the black market through one of several methods. By decreasing the number of firearms on the legal market through laws and restrictions, we decrease the number of firearms available to make their way into the illegal markets. So yes, you are in fact correct, with increased laws and restrictions on the purchase of firearms (especially federal laws rather than just state laws) we can make sure these guns would never have brought here!!

Seriously this is 6 grand a year. That’s a fraction of what we would pay if they DO wind up recidivating. This is money well spent if it keeps any amount of people from having to go back to criminal acts to survive.

I took the liberty of looking at your profile. Someone married you?! Does he/she/they have all his/her/their teeth!? Because you strike me as the sort of person who can't figure out how to work a tooth brush.

It’s a pilot program to prevent them from starving to death or reoffending while they try to re-enter society. A bit of kindness can go a long way. It must be almost impossible to restart your life after getting out of prison.

For sure. I met Apathy in Philadelphia. A lot of his music is very deep with meaning that goes over my head sometimes, but so artistic. He influenced me so much over the years.

I love it when people think their own personal “logic” trumps actual reality. It’s so cute, and naive.

Fully agree on it not being ideal 3 days a week and not mentally sustainable long term. Hopefully OP’s company will cut down the in-office days after a few high monthly/quarterly expense reports go through and they rethink the 3 day req

So they'll fine people with speed cameras, but don't bother to pull over cars going 20mph or more over the speed limit? Just today I had the pleasure of being on route 12 with 2 brand new mustangs. Paper registrations couldn't even be seen through the wicked dark tint on the rear windshield. It's 45mph and 2 lanes. They legit raced one another reaching a minimum of 80. They flew past 2 SEPERATE speed traps! Neither the trooper, nor the town cop, reacted. Bullshit.

Same here on East main. Light bulbs too. All warnings but at least I don't have to check my lights.

How about the ghost guns (no serial number) and handguns with switches? Those don’t sound legal. They certainly aren’t legal for a drug user or seller to posses.

Yes, locals will stop you but if you have a good reason you will just get a warning. They will look at your tires and for any other violations..its a cop magnet.
My impression after talking to the cop is that most people with no front plate are misusing the back plate on the vehicle to drive an unregistered vehicle around.
Locals are the ones that stop for bad lights and things hanging from the rearview mirror.
