We let people convicted of killing others while drunk driving own cars and alcohol.

If that's your experience with the cheap wooden ones.
Just grab a couple of these and give them a shot. Walk into any home improvement store and they likely have them and they are only like $6.
It's a very clean kill, I've never had to worry about cleaning up blood or guts from the floor.

I was surprised that new Britain's data was statistically "safer" on the same site.. and even Hartford in some ways. Bizarre.

We use the cheapo wooden ones and they almost always absolutely destroy the mice, blood and guts everywhere.
I used to try to reuse them but the trigger plates often need to be re-bent which is gross to do when they covered in gibs.
That, or it doesn't kill them all the way so it's easier just to toss the whole contraption.

We don’t have a “high quality of life” here. Our roads are shit, we pay $7k in taxes on a ranch built in the 50’s that we’ve had paid off for over 10 years
Sonakstyle t1_je0gn40 wrote
Of course. And we keep doing the same thing over and over

Obviously you are purposefully trying to be obtuse, but I'll just leave this here:
Just because something isn't called a "tax" that doesn't mean it isn't.
Talked to a friend who lives down South and EVERY goddamn little thing is another nickle-and-dime fee. His property taxes might be lower, but when you include all the other fees that he has to pay, he's no better off than folks in CT.
But looking at the big picture takes a little more time and effort than spewing out a 5 second sound-byte of "TaXeS Is BaD!1!!!!1!!".

Unlike normal working class guy Bob Stefanowski.
I wonder what Trade School he went to to learn how to scam people with payday loans? Is that something you learn at DeVry?

New Haven. You can take the express train which is 100ish minutes to the city and back. Driving from New Haven to West Hartford is 45 minutes.
