What is your specific definition of "diverse". For the Howard County Board of Education and Superintendent, it only means black and hispanic. Morons are running the system.

I’ve had a couple of dealings with Atomic Auto Salon, including having them do window tinting and ceramic coating on my car. They do good work.

Definitely use the link someone else posted to verify, but historically, Oakland Mills, Long Reach, and Wilde Lake are the most diverse high schools

linked here. As a general rule, schools in Columbia are more diverse than schools outside of it.

You can go to HCPSS web site and click Schools and see the demographic profile for each one. They are updated annually.

Pro wash auto spa, and/or Atomic Auto Salon...I think they're both in the same vicinity...

It’s a zoning issue but not in the way I think you’re saying. There is zero reason (aside from nimby-ism). There are houses in poor condition, why not allow homeowners to rebuild them into triplexes that are similar size to the houses near them (within a certain % greater), or convert their existing single family detached homes into duplexes? Or allow ADU’s on larger lots?
Most owners won’t do this, so it will be slow and gentle. Why not allow homeowners to allow their properties to work for their families?

Curious was it Office staff? Nursing Staff? Or Dr?
That is troubling there is no way to file a complaint.

For our countertops we used Quick Countertops out of Gaithersburg. They were great and the cost was reasonable too. I highly recommend them!

We used Brothers Services for kitchen backsplash and countertops last Fall. It was our second time using them for work around our house and they did a great job again! They have a design shop near Savage where they helped us pick the materials and the actual work was done more quickly than they had anticipated as they did a good job coordinating across the various tradespeople involved. Definitely recommend them!

Will second Dan and AKC. Worked with them a few years ago and was overall a great experience. The most important was that Dan was very communicative.

I used American Kitchen Concepts and had a great experience. Dan is a good guy and had a great crew. That was the key IMO. I saw Dan mostly during the design/consulting phase. But it was his crew that I had to deal with for 3 weeks while we were getting our entire kitchen redone.
That said - I do recall Dan using a company called Counter Intelligence (Silver Spring?) for our counters. So if that is all you need, it may be worth a shot going straight to them. They probably can also do your backsplash. We just used the same marble material for our backsplash behind the cooktop.

I went to Home Depot for my entire kitchen remodel, they did everything from the flooring to the cabinets, backslash and new countertops.

Make sure you look at the state site where they list results from inspections.

Not according to the BOE and Superintendent, Asians don't count for "diversity".
