Very true. Many of the 70's-built homes in the older villages are still occupied by their original owners.

I would love to see a breakdown of home ownership by age. There are a lot of older folks who own single family homes... over the next 10 years I expect that to change. Also would like to know which portion of homes are rented vs owned.

Camden. The main stops you would look at are Laurel, Savage or Dorsey depending on where you live.

Hickory Ridge area.
And yeah. COL like food/gas. Housing too if you want to buy instead of rent.

I’m still flabbergasted at this whole situation. Our own local government is run with no accountability.

Remind your "good" board members that you, and others, are paying attention. Offer praise and encouragement when you see them stand up publicly for what's right and the things you believe in. And vote.

What would be the best course of action if you already had a “good” board member, like say if you live in Wilde Lake.

Also, people shouldn't gloss over the conflict of interest between Long Reach Village chair Nina Basu (ED of Inner Arbor Trust, I believe) and the decision by her village board to rush through their appointment/replacement of Evans for Friedman. IAT is constantly begging for money from CA and now, thanks to Friedman getting in, they're closer to getting it. It sure smells fishy from the cheap seats. The rot is deep. Me and others in the community are watching and paying close attention at all levels. Voting and staying engaged is imperative.

Exactly. 4 or 5 of the 9 houses on my court are original owners
