Actually this is normal turkey behavior! In the wild they often roost together on strong tree limbs—it’s safer than sleeping on the ground. This one may also be huddled up here keep its feet warm since the ground is so cold.

At least we still have the one in Kendall. Use it if you want it to stay around!

Not sure - we were just chatting about what the plans were for the space and the the business and they mentioned it should be event space. It'd be cool if it was live music though.

Yeah, I can see a restaurant working well with the basement ambiance there. Like russell house tavern has a huge underground space and you don’t really think about the lack of windows.

I'm affiliated with Harvard but I believe anyone can use it - the gate is just open and people go in and out all the time.

Would be nice if some real shutters could be added back.

Life Alive and Veggie Galaxy are both excellent vegetarian spots in Central with many vegan options. Taco Party is way over in Ball Sq Somerville but highly recommended and all vegan. Veggie crust and Flatbread (Somerville) offer vegan pizza.

Is that just a feeling/expectation or do you have anything to back that up?

TJs would be nice.
I don’t see Yamba expanding down there. They already have a lot of wasted space upstairs.
I think it’s going to be a restaurant.
A small music venue or bar would also be cool.

Can’t answer your original question, but is the Harvard track available to the public? Or are you a Harvard student/staff/alum ?
