Didn’t realize I was wading into controversy by asking!

Some Clover locations might as well be cafes, given that they do pour overs and have a giant fancy table. Food wise it’s a mix of vegetarian and vegan.

Littleburg. It’s so, so good. It’s technically in Somerville, but Union is like half a mile from Inman so whatevs.

The Tempo Loop, as it's commonly referred to, around the stadium (and surrounding buildings) is ~0.75 miles and usually cleared of snow within 24 hours.
I'm not sure of this Smith footpath

Got it, thanks! Not sure if the weather today is bad enough to make the track unusable, but good to have this backup.

Oh nice! Any idea what the distance of the path is?

Like a million places, but I'll list ones no one else mentioned: Taco Party. Mas Veggies Taqueria. Veggie Crust. Saus. Nu Cafe.
Also great vegan options at: Union Sq Donuts. Momo n Curry. Oleana. Sofra. Sarma. Koshari Mama. Sweetgreen. Carolicious. Fasika. Moona. Clover. All Star Pizza Bar always has a vegan slice. And the Vietnamese spring rolls at Porter Square Books are beyond.

There's also the footpath around the newly renovated Smith Park next door. That should be cleared at some point tomorrow

It is not. Sometimes a group might shovel a lane or two, but it often melts and freezes over the coming days and becomes an icy mess. We used to do laps around the stadium instead. It was plowed mostly and about 3/8 mile around.

I'm not vegan but I second both of these places.

Caffe Nero has a vegan breakfast sandwich, not sure how extensive their other vegan offerings are though. Seems like most of their baked goods are made with butter.

If you're up to wandering out to Watertown, Red Lentil is very good.

Just about everywhere has vegan options, are you trying to avoid places with non vegan ingredients?

For a fancy, white table cloth meal for special occasions, can't beat True Bistro outside of Davis Square.

One of my vegan friends is a frequenter of Veggie Galaxy. I can’t personally vouch for it though, I’ve never been.

Life Alive! Not everything they have is vegan, but they're all plant-based vegetarian, so it's an easy modification if you order a vegetarian option.

Veggie Galaxy I believe also has a solid selection

I think Life Alive has some good options. I especially like their oat milk latte.

Plant Pub. I liked their food, but from the name I thought it'd be like an Irish pub, but vegan. It's nice if you like modern minimalist decor. Ok for me, but threw me off with the name.
disclaimer: I'm not vegan.

Not vegan but the Middle East has numerous vegetarian offerings- phenomenal food. Falafel, Taboulie, Baba Ghanouj , Lentil soup, stuffed grape leaves , and my personal favorite is the Pumpkin Kibby.
