This is outrageous! Most times you can get a dozen for less than $6 but it used to be like $2.79 or something... Inflation is out of hand.

Yup, I guess inflation wasn’t just transitory. Those are designer eggs though. You can also get an 18 pack of just eggs at the same H Mart for half that.

Right? I'm sure the price of eggs are increasing, but those are probably the most expensive eggs you can buy

Dude, if multiple cars are doing it in a single month, you can’t simply blame recklessness. That’s insane. I don’t know whether the angled barrier was added on brattle st or not, but either way it demonstrates the obvious problem-people are unfamiliar with these things, they’re not visible enough, and they’re causing accidents. The lawsuits these things will generate are going to be wild.

if i drive my car into a concrete barrier, i would probably blame myself for driving into a concrete barrier as opposed to blaming cyclists and those pesky city officials for installing said concrete barrier

In addition to the lottery, reach out to the CPSD. When we moved here last year, one of them ‘took over’ our case and navigated us through every step. It was quite fantastic and made it easy for us.

If you were talking about Boston, I'd agree with you. Cambridge, not so much. It's a hassle to get your car registered in MA because the RMV is complete garbage, but once you have it registered I fail to see how owning a car in Cambridge is more of a hassle than taking public transportation or relying on Zipcar, or more expensive than rideshare and Zipcar.

I own a car and a bike and live next to the Red line. I bike and T and take the bus when it's convenient, drive when it's not. You can get by without a car in Cambridge but it's certainly not more convenient and it's cheaper only if you don't value your time.
