Columbia put out a line of sturdy messenger bags years ago and still has a smaller one called the zigzag. The bigger ones are still giving me years and maybe you can find some on ebay.

I have the same. Unfortunately I believe they are no longer around. BBBY no longer sells them.

People travelling for many months, overlanding, motorcycle cruising, ATW, vancamping etc. that don't spend a good month locally field testing their setup kills me. You need to KNOW if your rig and setup will get you through a mid March snowstorm you weren't prepared for. Your water filter systems need to be tested with every kind of ditch water you can find. Does your propane tank have compatibility in Guatemala or any other country you'll go to?

It's not hard to do. Attach a garden hose to the bottom, turn off power and shut off water. Drain through the garden hose. You're probably due for a new anode rod as well. Turn off power first also, if you're feeling fancy, take out the heater element and clean it.

Turn off power then turn off water and drain it once a year, or twice if you have really hard water. Replace anode rod every 3-5 years. And if the water heater does stop working. The heater element can be replaced for like $30. Just drain it, and always fill it before you turn the power back on.

When you are off-roading, usually you are in a group telling your friends what’s up ahead and what to look out for. You are also on a set channel so the people you would be talking to would already know you. Also, in some scenarios you need someone spotting you and a radio is the best way to do this. Another case is if you are winching out of a tough spot and someone is on your winch line, you can communicate with each other safely.

It’s even more important to perform annual maintenance on a tankless water heater than a conventional tank water heater. Look up the manual for your model to see what’s needed.

I loved my lumia, back when it was a windows phone.
The only issue was that MS has a tendency to abandon technology for no apparent reason, so there were no really good apps for it.

How often do you have a list for a plumber? Last time I had a plumber out was 6 years ago during a bathroom remodel.

Citric acid is cheap and likely the main ingredient in the specialized cleaner. It’s a strong chelator which is a fancy way of saying it’s great at dissolving rust. It’s typically sold as a powder so just mix it with hot water for cleaning.
This does the exact same thing chemically as the vinegar (acetic acid) but much better.

I had same issue basically you need to get shoes without they mesh on top. I know hiking sneaker shoes have a more durable top. I have a pair of Keens that look like sneakers but they’re meant more hiking or rubbing outdoors on trails. Much more durable.
