As long as I don't lose the one I have, probably nothing... at worst I replace it once and it'll be around 10 dollars.

R/Manybaggers is probably going to be a better sub with you since they have experience for many types of uses and styles.
(A lot of this depends on the style you're going for. Packs can be camping style, business casual, business semiformal. Lot of options. Specifying may get you the best sort of results there.)
Hope it helps, good luck in your search!

Or it will last until you forget to put it away and your cat knocks it onto the tile bathroom floor and it shatters.
Things happen, no one got hurt, I got a new file, lol.

I know you already referenced Samsonite, but my Samsonite day bag is really wonderfully sturdy and comfortable with loads of handy pockets. Can’t recommend it more highly. I’ve been using it for 6 years now and it still looks new.

Exactly, this is the issue. My last phone had absolutely nothing wrong with it. Except that there came a point that there were no further updates for it, and apps were pulling themselves from its last point of update. It became a brick by smartphone standards. I could call, text, and use the browser. But no other apps. When I tried to open them I'd get a message my phone isn't supported anymore. It had been 5-6 years since the phone was released at that point. I take care of my stuff, it still looked new and nothing was broken on it.

I'd second Osprey, got a 25l bag I use for much the same thing. Had it for years and it's been all over the world and properly abused. The zip broke apart recently, sent it back with minimal fuss and it was fixed in a day. The only thing that's worth noting though is that their warranty varies a lot by region. If you're in the US you're sweet. But I'm in the UK and heard they can be a bit funny about repairing certain types of damage in Europe and elsewhere.

My shitty company once mailed us a Hershey's chocolate bar. Couldn't help but think about all that waste in packaging, fuel, and carbon emissions. Would've been happier with a $5 eGift card.

Not necessarily but I see your point, we've reached a point with phones that software is far more fragile than hardware long term.

This gives me an idea. You can diet just by using a mirror and seeing that you are eating a second copy of your food at the same time. Need two slices of bread? Eat one in front of a mirror. It'll be like you've eaten two.

I have a torture one in those kits you find at tjmaxx. Going on 15 years now. I've replaced the tweezers and clips with tweezerman a few ago for reference.
Get this cuz you want higher quality. But you don't have to pretend like the shit ones disintegrate or wear down.

In fairness I've dropped mine a few times accidentally it's fine no cracks or breaks, there not as fragile as say crystal glassware.

Yeah, but they were saying BIFL is not synonymous with good quality so you have to do more research to make sure you're actually going to WANT to use the thing for life. Throwing something out after 2 years because it sucks to use is just as bad as throwing it out after 2 years because it broke.

I use an antique Revlon diamond file from the 1980s. They don’t make them anymore, understandably because they never wear out. Oh and I also use it to sharpen my cuticle nippers and tweezers. The plastic handle broke years ago but I replaced it with epoxied fiber.
