Arch supports that I'm speaking of are inserts. You haven't had a quality pair of footwear if you've had to add insoles or any other accoutrements.

I put insoles in everything I wear. For the pain it causes me from getting my toes crunched I'll forgo arch support and buy inserts.

Do whatever you want, just don't recommend it here.

I’ve been extremely happy with the pillows from Coop home goods. The price point is pretty outrageous (I waited for a sale), and even my partner was unsure if we should drop that much on pillows. But it’s something you use every day for several hours — it’s worth the investment. It quite literally revolutionized the way my partner and I sleep. You can remove or add the pillow filling, making it customizable to your liking!

I misunderstood what you meant in the seiko 5 comment. My bad.
Also, didn’t realize we were talking about a battery powered watch. That’s even more silly.
Here’s a video of the battery replacement for a shinola runwell. Takes the dude like 30 seconds to open the case.

I don’t know what to tell you dude. I have a model that my uncle bought early on in the brand’s life so maybe they’ve changed the casing since then. I’ve taken it to multiple watch repairmen in the large city I live in and they’ve all told me the same thing that shinola told me. Re: Seiko 5, the case back can be opened by anyone with a small screwdriver, so I’m not sure what you meant by that. Regardless, I’m just trying to give a warning to other folks who had high hopes for a nice looking watch like Shinola makes. They co opted Detroit’s reputation for American made goods to hock their shit watches for high prices, and that bums me out.

Came to say the same—once seasoned they’re very durable and lightweight, easy to clean, zero Teflon. You can pick up a decently priced Matfer if you spend a few minutes searching. I love mine (8”, I think) and my daughter can actually pick it up so it’s become her go-to.

I'd suggest you don't buy their flimsy plastic shit in the first place.

I have a deep stainless steel frying pan that's around 14 inches in diameter and I love it! It can go into the oven too.

You're welcome! I loved my Wingshooters, They were bulky af but I could hike and hunt in them all day. If you can ignore the weight of them, they were very comfortable.
Irish Setter has their own website. I just bought a new pair on the bass pro shop website, they had more coupons lol

Third this, I've worn the same pair for about 3 years now and they're just about due for a resole. I work in a warehouse, standing and walking all shift, and they're the most comfortable boots I've worn

A place in town sells refurb appliances. Luckily they still have older ones available(last I checked).

I still don’t believe that. Who told you this?
Edit: that’s also not true for the seiko 5, which is a common mod watch for amateurs

It’s not the mechanism but the casing itself. The shinola casings can only be opened with a specific machine that shinola and their affiliate watch repairmen have access to. It’s not a case that anyone could open, like my Seiko 5.
Regardless of the movements reliability with other makers, what I experienced was far below the standard lifespan of any other battery power watch I’ve owned before.

Something to consider, check your union if it just a requirement for green patch. Most ceramic safety boots are still green patch. (green triangle)

Haha yeah I'm aware about not finding BIFL for under $125, the only boot that I've ever had hold up for many many years under $125 was my docs. I'm not opposed to spending as much as $350 on boots, but I do know that if I'm paying that much, I shouldnt have to complain about them feeling heavy and stiff, should have worded my post different lol.

Nice. I think return of product if not functional is a great idea. And, you may have thought of this of course, the producer could then refurbish and sell again. I'm thinking of Amazon warehouse deals where products with flaws are sold at discount. I bought something there. Granted it was new and not refurbished, they do also have options to buy refurbished on there I think.

I’ve got a bunch of Dyson battery vacuums had em for years. Bought replacement batteries and filters but don’t buy the official ones. Everything works and nothing has broken. I’m pretty happy with them.
